Martha Bolldorf-Reitstätter

Martha Bolldorf-Reitstätter (born February 19, 1912 in Innsbruck ; † June 13, 2001 in Eisenstadt ) was an Austrian architect.

Life

After completing school, she graduated from the HTL Schellinggasse in 1930 . Then she attended the master class architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with the Austrian architect Clemens Holzmeister and after graduating in 1934 became his employee. In 1938 the step into self-employment followed with his own architecture office. In 1942/43 she worked as a city planner in the occupied Crimea .

In 1946 she married the architect Leo Nikolaus Bolldorf (1910-1996), with whom she had two sons and a daughter. In 1963 she acquired Kobersdorf Castle, the renovation of which became her life's work.

The diplomat Martin Bolldorf is her son.
