Martin Luluga

Martin Luluga (born March 1, 1933 in Lodonga ) is Bishop Emeritus of Nebbi .

Life

Martin Luluga was ordained a priest on June 1, 1963 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Arua diocese .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Aquae in Dacia and auxiliary bishop in Gulu on October 17, 1986 . The Bishop of Gulu, Cipriano Biyehima Kihangire , donated him episcopal ordination on January 11 of the next year ; Co- consecrators were Cesare Asili , Bishop of Lira , and Frederick Drandua , Bishop of Arua .

On February 8, 1990, John Paul II called him Bishop of Gulu and on January 2, 1999, Bishop of Nebbi. On February 8, 2011, Pope Benedict XVI. his resignation request submitted for reasons of age.
