The Bistum Nebbi ( lat. : Dioecesis Nebbensis ) is in Uganda preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Nebbi . Its extension roughly corresponds to the districts of Nebbi and Zombo .
history
Pope John Paul II founded it with the Apostolic Constitution Cum ad aeternam on February 23, 1996 from cession of territory by the diocese of Arua and it was subordinated to the archdiocese of Gulu as a suffragan diocese.
