Sanctus Lino Wanok

Sanctus Lino Wanok (born April 7, 1957 in Atyak-Yamo ) is a Ugandan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Lira .

Life

Sanctus Lino Wanok was ordained a priest on September 27, 1986 . He was incardinated on February 23, 1996 in the clergy of the diocese of Nebbi .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him bishop of Nebbi on February 8, 2011. The Archbishop of Gulu , John Baptist Odama , ordained him episcopal on April 30 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Martin Luluga , former Bishop of Nebbi, and Archbishop Paul Tschang In-Nam , Apostolic Nuncio in Uganda.

Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Lira on November 23, 2018. The inauguration took place on February 9 of the following year.
