Giuseppe Franzelli
Giuseppe Franzelli MCCJ (born April 9, 1942 in Roccafranca ) is an Italian religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Lira .
Life
Giuseppe Franzelli joined the order of the Comboni Missionaries , made his profession on September 9, 1963 and was ordained a priest on March 11, 1967 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Lira on April 1, 2005. The Archbishop of Gulu , John Baptist Odama , ordained him episcopal on July 9 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Paul Lokiru Kalanda , Bishop of Fort Portal , and Joseph Oyanga , Old Bishop of Lira.
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on November 23, 2018.
