John Baptist Odama
John Baptist Odama (born June 29, 1947 in Riki-Oluku ) is a Ugandan priest and Archbishop of Gulu .
Life
The Bishop of Arua , Angelo Tarantino MCCJ , ordained him a priest on December 14, 1974 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Nebbi on February 23, 1996 .
The Archbishop of Kampala , Emmanuel Cardinal Wamala , donated him episcopal ordination on May 26th of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Frederick Drandua , Bishop of Arua , and Martin Luluga , Bishop of Gulu .
On January 2, 1999, he was appointed Archbishop of Gulu.
