Frederick Drandua

Frederick Drandua (born August 12, 1943 in Uleppi , † September 1, 2016 in Nsambya ) was a Ugandan clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Arua .

Life

Frederick Drandua was ordained a priest for the diocese of Arua on August 9, 1970 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Arua on May 27, 1986. The Archbishop of Kampala , Emmanuel Kiwanuka Cardinal Nsubuga , donated him episcopal ordination on August 15th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Emmanuel Wamala , Bishop of Kiyinda-Mityana , and Cesare Asili , Bishop of Lira .

On August 19, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI. his early resignation.
