Martin Ostermeier

Martin Ostermeier (born September 21, 1970 ) is a German actor, speaker and performance artist .

Life

Martin Ostermeier grew up in Landshut . From 1992 to 1995 he studied acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. After that he had engagements at the Schauspiel Frankfurt , at the Lucerne Theater , Schillertheater Wuppertal and at other stations in Germany and Switzerland. In 2006 he attended a film acting course at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg. He also played in individual episodes of Dr. Stefan Frank - The doctor whom women trust , the old man and Derrick on television.

Martin Ostermeier became known to a wide audience in 2013 through the Swiss television series Der Bestatter , where he played the coroner Alois Semmelweis
