Martin Scholz (moderator)
Martin Scholz (born October 3, 1974 in Bremen ) is a German singer and television presenter . He was the singer of the boy band Touché and from 2002 to 2007 a presenter for the German television station 9Live .
Life
At the age of 15, Martin Scholz founded his first band ( Scénic Fleur ). He trained as a hairdresser. Later he formed together with Glenn Frey the boy group "Touché" produced by Dieter Bohlen . With her, Scholz reached the German sales charts between 1997 and 1999 with six singles and two albums . When the success of Touché waned, Martin Scholz tried to start a solo career.
From August 2002 to the end of 2007 he led the call-in shows on 9Live , kabel eins and Sat.1 . From January 2009 to April 2010 he was regularly seen in the call-in format Masterquiz on Super RTL. From August 2014 to the end of 2015 he hosted the Folx Quiz on the music channel Folx TV .
Since 2003 he has also appeared repeatedly as an actor. He played in Splatter Der VIII. Grad (Director: Robert Block) and had short appearances as a plumber in Frech wie Janine (Director: Markus Hansen), as well as DJ Weldi (2005) and Timo Sattler (2007) in Verbotene Liebe (Soap, ARD ). In two episodes of file number XY… unsolved (2010), Scholz was seen as a criminal investigation officer and safe-hack.
In the short film Beyond Good and Evil , which was released on DVD, he plays the pop star Martin, who rapes and kills his sister. With this he drives his mother to suicide. Even his new girlfriend does not survive sex with Martin.
In the spring of 2015 there was a comeback of Touché , also participated in the Martin Scholz.
Since January 2019 he has been a permanent presenter at the regional radio station Radio 90.vier .
Scholz was in a relationship with pop singer and Saphir winner Christin Stark from April 2012 to October 2013 . Previously, he was in a relationship with pop singer Sarah Connor from 1997 to 1999 . Together with his last partner Caro Behma, he formed the pop duo WIR from 2016 to 2019 .
Together with Caught in the Act band member Lee Baxter , Scholz founded the duo 90twoDegrees in 2020. On June 19, 2020, the first joint single Feel it Again was released .
