Martin Schwarz (journalist)

Martin Schwarz (born July 13, 1971 ) is an Austrian journalist , publicist and author . In addition, since the late 1990s he has been editor-in-chief for the Austrian Industriemagazin Verlag for various publications .

Live and act

Martin Schwarz studied philosophy and communication science . Since 1992 he has been the Eastern Europe and Balkan correspondent for several German newspapers and magazines. Since 1996, Schwarz has been working primarily as a business journalist. Since then, Schwarz has continued to work for the Industriemagazin Verlag and is currently editor-in-chief of the industry magazine 4c - Magazin für Druck & Design, which also appears there .

In 2001 he co-founded the Stories & Texts author network . In addition to his journalistic activities, Schwarz has now published several non-fiction books, some together with the Austrian journalist and author Heinz Erdmann . From 2005 to 2006 he was editor-in-chief of the business e-paper ADVISORY , which he co-founded and which at times co-operated with the European news magazine Europolitan , for which Schwarz was and is also active.

On May 11, 2016, he was the first Austrian to be named journalist of the year for his article Der Kodak-Moment by the Association of German Trade Press and the Karl Theodor Vogel Foundation.
