Martin Tielke

Martin Tielke (* 1948 in Arnsberg ) is a German librarian and author.

Life

Tielke studied German , sociology and political science in Marburg , Göttingen and Berlin . He completed his studies in 1979 with a dissertation on Adalbert Stifter . He then completed an apprenticeship as a scientific librarian at the Berlin State Library. Until 2008 he was head of the Aurich Landscape Library . In addition to regional historical publications, including v. a the publication of the Biographical Lexicon for East Friesland , he stood out in particular with publications on Carl Schmitt and Ernst Jünger . He is a member of the board of the Carl Schmitt Society .
