Martina Blasberg-Kuhnke

Martina Blasberg-Kuhnke , b. Blasberg (born March 29, 1958 in Hagen ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian , university professor and was Vice President of the University of Osnabrück .

Life

From 1977 to 1983 she studied Catholic theology and education at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. She completed her studies with a degree in theology. At the same university she worked from 1981 to 1987 as a research assistant for pastoral theology and religious education at the seminar for practical theology of the Catholic-Theological Faculty. In 1985 she received a doctorate in pastoral theology Dr. theol. From 1990 to 1993 Blasberg-Kuhnke worked as a research assistant for religious education at the University of Essen. In 1992 she completed her habilitation in religious education at the Catholic Theology Department at Mainz University . As a private lecturer, she worked as a representative of the chair for pastoral theology and religious education at the faculty of Catholic theology at the University of Osnabrück, which she appointed to the chair for practical theology: pastoral theology and religious education in 1996. She has been working there ever since. She is married to Ulrich Kuhnke and has one child. From October 1, 2009 to September 30, 2012 she was Vice President for Studies and Teaching at the University of Osnabrück. She is a signatory of the memorandum “ Church 2011: A Necessary Awakening ”.

Focus of work

Blasberg-Kuhnke is particularly concerned with religious upbringing and education in elementary and primary schools, the theory of religious instruction, religious education and socialization of adults, practical theological research on women, aging research and pastoral care for the elderly as well as the pastoral theology of the community.
