The Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs has therefore decided that the current school content of the training occupation that corresponds to the focus should be used when training the trainees. This means that a trainee who is learning this profession with a focus on textile technology, for example , is trained as a textile production mechanic in accordance with the school regulations of the first and second year of training . Ideally, trainees in this focus also attend the same vocational school class as the textile production mechanics.

With a focus on metal technology / plastics technology in the apprenticeship

With a focus on textile technology and textile finishing in the training occupation

With a focus on food technology in one of the apprenticeships

With a focus on print finishing and paper processing in one of the apprenticeships

For the dairy specialist, there was a credit option for training contracts that were established until April 8, 2006. Since the profession was then modernized as a dairy technologist , after this reorganization it was no longer possible to credit it.
