Matías Malvino , full name Matías Daniel Malvino Gómez , (born January 20, 1992 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

According to his club, the 1.88 meter tall defensive player Malvino has been part of the squad of the Uruguayan first division club Defensor , from whose junior team he emerged , since 2011 . There he received no league playing time in the 2011/12 first division season, but was used five times in the Copa Libertadores Sub-20s in 2012 (no goal), in which his club reached the final. In the 2012/13 season he played 23 games (no goal) in the Primera División . In the 2013/14 season he then made another 19 first division appearances (no goal). In addition, a total of eleven completed matches (no goal) of the Copa Libertadores 2014 , in which Defensor advanced to the semi-finals, were recorded for Malvino. In the Apertura 2014 he ran twice (no goal) in the top Uruguayan league. At the end of August 2014, Malvino moved to Switzerland for FC Lugano . Defensor had sold the club-owned 50% of the transfer rights. At the Swiss club he met his six compatriots Jonathan Barboza , Renato César , Jonathan Sabbatini , Sergio Cortelezzi , Ángel Cayetano and Leonardo Melazzi . By the end of the 2014/15 season he had played 27 games in the Challenge League with the Swiss, who led him with Italian nationality, and scored three goals. He also came into play twice (no goal) in the Swiss Cup competition. For Apertura 2015, he returned to Uruguay on loan and joined Nacional Montevideo . In the Apertura 2015, he was used in six first division games (no goal) and twice (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2015 . At the beginning of 2016 he returned to FC Lugano, for whom he played ten league games (no goal) and one cup game (no goal) in the 2015/16 season. In July 2016 he returned to Nacional Montevideo, although he did not play a competitive game in the subsequent 2016 season, he won the Uruguayan championship with the "Bolsos". At the end of January 2017, he was loaned to the league competitor Racing Club de Montevideo . In the current 2017 season (as of March 5, 2017) he has made four first division appearances (no goal).
