Sergio Cortelezzi , full name Sergio Martín Cortelezzi Ferreyra , (born September 9, 1994 in Florida ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.83-meter-tall offensive player Cortelezzi has played for the youth teams of the Uruguayan first division club Nacional Montevideo since at least 2011 . In the Primera División , however, he was not used. In August 2013 he left the "Bolsos" and joined the Italian club US Lecce . Around a year later, he moved to the Swiss second division club FC Lugano in early August 2014 . In this context, it is reported that he joined the Swiss from the Italian club Clodiense . In the 2014/15 season he was used there 27 times in the Challenge League and scored nine goals. There were also two national cup appearances (no goal). He then joined FC Chiasso . In the 2015/16 season he was used 33 times (five goals) in the Challenge League and once (no goal) in the Swiss Cup. In July 2016, he moved to FC Le Mont-sur-Lausanne , for whom he played in 27 league games (three goals) and one cup game (no goal) by the end of the season. At the beginning of July 2017, he was signed by FC Wil , where he has so far (as of August 6, 2017) played three times in the league and scored two goals.
National team
Cortelezzi was a member of the Uruguayan U-15 team coached by Fabián Coito , which took part in the U-15 South American Championship in Bolivia in 2009 and finished fourth. He was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-17 selection at the U-17 South American Championship in Ecuador in 2011 and was runner-up with the team. In June 2011 he was part of the Uruguayan team at the 2011 U-17 World Cup in Mexico . There he reached the final with the team, in which they were defeated by the Mexican hosts. Cortelezzi was used in the two World Cup matches against Rwanda and England. He didn't score a goal.
