Mathias Deppisch (born June 14, 1979 in Eutin ) is a former German handball player who now works as a handball trainer.

Career

Playing handball began in the Lübeck gymnastics club . After the left-hander then ran for TSV Eintracht Groß Grönau, he joined the A-youth from VfL Bad Schwartau in 1997 . In addition, he ran in the 1997/98 season for the 2nd team from VfL Bad Schwartau in the major league .

Deppisch moved to VfL Fredenbeck in 1998 , with whom he played in the 2nd Bundesliga . In the 2000/01 season he was under contract with the second division HSG Mülheim-Kärlich / Bassenheim . Then who played winger in the third division Wermelskirchener TV . From 2003 he ran for the second division club SG Solingen . Two years later, Deppisch moved to the regional division TV Korschenbroich , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga twice. In October 2016, he terminated his contract.

Deppisch also ran for the German national police team, with whom he won the European Championship in 2008, 2012 and 2016.

Deppisch worked as a youth coordinator at TV Korschenbroich from September 2012. From February 2017 to May 2019 he worked at MTV Lübeck. He has been in possession of the A license since May 2018. In the 2019/20 season he worked as an assistant coach at the second division club VfL Bad Schwartau. He then took on a youth coaching position at MTV Lübeck.
