Matthew Lee "Matt" Vest (born September 17, 1992 in Kettering , Ohio ) is an American basketball player .

Career

Vest played basketball in Dayton high school before moving to Wright State University . His father Mark was also active for this college and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1992. His younger brother Alan also went to this college in 2015. In his senior year in college, he was elected to the Horizon League's all-defensive team .

He then began his professional career in Germany when he switched to the Oettinger Rockets , which competed in the ProA . After the end of the season he moved to the league competitor Paderborn Baskets , where he should take responsibility. After two years, Vest moved again within the league, this time to the RheinStars Cologne , before he finally moved to the Niners Chemnitz . In July 2019, the Bundesliga relegated Science City Jena announced the signing of the Point Guard .
