Matthias Höring (born June 18, 1962 ) is a German table tennis player . He was German champion twice.
Career
Matthias Höring played in the 1980s with several interruptions, mostly with the club TTC Grünweiß Bad Hamm in the Bundesliga . In the 1985/86 season he was German champion with Borussia Düsseldorf . At the National German Championships of individual competitions he reached the semi-finals in a mixed with Katja Nolten in 1985, and in 1988 he won the mixed title with Ilka Böhning .
He used a two-year interlude at Germania Schnelsen in the late 1980s to take part in the Hamburg championships. Here he won singles and doubles with Manfred Nieswand in 1989 and 1990 . In the 1993/94 season he was with TTF Bad Honnef champion of the 2nd Bundesliga North.
He also achieved success in the senior sector: With TTC Schwalbe Bergneustadt , Matthias Höring became German senior team champion over 40 in 2006.
