Matthias Joseph Isuja
Matthias Joseph Isuja (born August 14, 1929 in Haubi ; † April 13, 2016 in Itigi ) was a Tanzanian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Dodoma .
Life
Matthias Joseph Isuja was ordained a priest for the diocese of Mbarara on December 24, 1960 .
Pope Paul VI appointed him Bishop of Dodoma on June 26, 1972. The Archbishop of Dar es Salaam , Cardinal Laurean Rugambwa , ordained him episcopal on September 17 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Marc Mihayo , Archbishop of Tabora , and Adriani Mkoba , Bishop of Morogoro and Apostolic Administrator of Zanzibar and Pemba .
On January 15, 2005, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
