Maurizio Lama
Maurizio Lama (born September 18, 1937 in Rome , † March 18, 1968 ) was an Italian jazz musician ( piano , also organ , arrangement ).
Lama worked in the jazz scenes of Turin and Milan a. a. with Enrico Rava (1960), Franco Mondini / Phil Woods (1960), Jacques Pelzer (1961), Gato Barbieri , Steve Lacy , Aldo Romano , Giorgio Azzolini , Gianni Sanjust , Franco Cerri , Franco Ambrosetti , Giorgio Buratti and Paolo Conte . he also worked as a studio musician. Lama died in 1968 at the age of thirty as a result of a traffic accident on the Autostrada dei Fiori.
