A new partnership with Gymnazium 19 in Breslau ( Poland ) has recently been established. In the EF of the upper level there is an opportunity to exchange with students from Albacete near Valencia in Spain .

The Max Ernst Comprehensive School in Cologne also honors its namesake in the school program. In 1992, on the 101st birthday of Max Ernst , the school was named after the artist and has since focused on the fine arts. In addition, the school organizes exhibitions, awards art prizes and cooperates with artists. Since 2009, the Max Ernst Comprehensive School has been running regular media art projects in an educational partnership with the SK Stiftung Kultur of Sparkasse KölnBonn .
