Max Heinsheimer
Maximilian Heinsheimer ( August 14, 1832 in Bretten - January 4, 1892 in Karlsruhe ) was a legal scholar and higher regional judge in the Baden civil service and father of Karl Heinsheimer .
After attending secondary school in Bretten, he attended the Lyceum in Karlsruhe. From 1851 to 1855 he studied law at the University of Heidelberg . Then he entered the Baden state service. He initially worked as a district judge in Mannheim and from 1879 until his death as a higher regional judge in Karlsruhe.
Max Heinsheimer wrote numerous academic papers and published the journal for French civil law from 1883 to 1892 . During his time in Mannheim he was a member of the city council and the district committee.
