Maximilian Munski (born January 10, 1988 in Lübeck ) is a former German rower .

The 1.96 m tall Munski began rowing in 1998 and started for the Lübeck Rowing Society from 1885 . In 2005 he won the title at the Junior World Championships with the four-man with helmsman ; with eighth he finished second at the Junior World Championships in 2006 . In 2007 with the four with a helmsman and in 2008 with the two without a helmsman , Munski took fourth place at the U23 World Championships . In 2010 he won the eighth title at the U23 World Championships. In the same year, together with Filip Adamski and helmsman Albert Kowert, he won the bronze medal in two with helmsman at the world championships in the adult class. In 2011 Munski won the German championship title in two without a helmsman together with Felix Drahotta . At the world championships , the two achieved sixth place.

In 2013 Munski competed internationally for the first time in Germany eighth and won gold at the 2013 European Championships and silver behind the British eighth at the World Championships . Starting in 2014 in a four-man without a helmsman, he finished fifth at the European championships and eighth at the world championships . In 2015 Munski returned to the Germany eighth, at the 2015 European Championships the German eighth won ahead of the British. At the 2015 World Championships, as in the previous two years, the British won ahead of the Germans. At the start of the 2016 Olympic season, the Germany eighth managed a victory at the European Championships , in front of a home crowd in Brandenburg an der Havel, the German boat won ahead of the Russians and the British. In the final of the 2016 Olympic Games , the finish line was like at the World Championships 2013 to 2015, behind the British, the rowers of the Germany eight received the silver medal.

Munski ended his career after the 2016 season. Since 2019 he has been a junior trainer at the Hansa rowing company in Hamburg.
