Maximilian Probst

Maximilian Probst (* 1977 in Hamburg ) is a German journalist and publicist .

Life

Probst studied philosophy, German literature and history at the universities of Hamburg and Barcelona from 1998 to 2003 . He translated books by Slavoj Žižek , Alain Badiou and Paul Virilio into German for Passagen Verlag . After an internship at taz nord , he switched to the weekly newspaper Die Zeit in 2011 .

family

Probst is a grandson of the resistance fighter Christoph Probst , who was executed as a member of the White Rose on February 22, 1943 together with Hans and Sophie Scholl in Munich-Stadelheim .
