Maximino Ruiz y Flores

Maximino Ruiz y Flores (born August 15, 1875 in Atlacomulco de Fabela , State of México , Mexico , † May 11, 1949 ) was auxiliary bishop in Mexico City .

Life

Maximino Ruiz y Flores received 1901, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On July 8, 1913 appointed him Pope Pius X to the bishop of Chiapas . The Archbishop of Mexico City, José Mora y del Rio , donated him episcopal ordination on September 8 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Guadalajara , Francisco Orozco y Jiménez , and the Bishop of León , Emeterio Valverde y Téllez . The inauguration took place on October 24, 1913.

On March 8, 1920 Maximino Ruiz y Flores resigned as Bishop of Chiapas. On the same day Pope Benedict XV appointed him . the titular bishop of Derbe and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Mexico City.
