Gerardo Anaya y Diez de Bonilla (born October 3, 1881 in Tepexpan , State of México , Mexico , † June 15, 1958 in San Luis Potosí ) was Bishop of San Luis Potosí .

Life

Gerardo Anaya y Diez de Bonilla received the sacrament of ordination for Mexico City on April 2, 1904 .

On March 8, 1920 Pope Benedict XV appointed him . to the Bishop of Chiapas . The Archbishop of Mexico City, José Mora y del Rio , donated him episcopal ordination on June 13 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Linares o Nueva León , Francisco Plancarte y Navarrette , and the Archbishop of Michoacán , Leopoldo Ruiz y Flóres . On October 3, 1941, Pope Pius XII appointed him . to the Bishop of San Luis Potosí.
