Maxym Polishchuk ( Ukrainian Максим Полишук ; born June 15, 1984 ) is a former Ukrainian track and road cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2004 Maxym Polishchuk was U23 European champion in the team pursuit together with Volodymyr Djudja , Vitaliy Popkow and Dmytro Grabovskyy ; the following year the four riders became vice-European champions of the U23. In 2006 Polishchuk, Volodymyr Djudja, Roman Kononenko and Lyubomyr Polatajko won bronze at world championships . At the Track Cycling World Cup 2006/07 he was with the Ukrainian national team in the team pursuit third in Sydney and first in Los Angeles . At the 2007 World Cup in Palma he won silver in the same discipline and third at the 2007/08 World Cup in Los Angeles. In 2009 he became the Ukrainian master in the criterion on the street .
