Meermanns Baumhaus is a drama by the director Anna Annegret Pein from 1992. It is about an old married couple who remember the happiness of days gone by and their lifelong love in the old people's home. The film was produced by the desert film production in cooperation with the Hessischer Rundfunk . It premiered in October 1993. It was first shown on television on November 23, 1994.

The film is about the couple Adele and Werner Meermann. The two live in a nursing home , which they see as the end of their lives. There they remember the happy times of their life and love. An important memory is the tree house in which Adele sat as a child and which Werner cycled past and brought cherries. In the home, moments from the past that they remember together are all they have left. So they remember sixty years spent together in mutual love, which had given them a happy and fulfilled life.
