The Mehlbach is a one kilometer long, northwest and left tributary of the Bleidenbach in the area of the community Weilmünster in the Hessian district Limburg-Weilburg .
geography
course
The Mehlbach rises in the Hasselborn Hintertaunus at an altitude of 285 m above sea level. NHN in the corridor Ober der Läuseck just under two and a half kilometers southwest of Weilmünster . Its source is on the edge of a forest at the southwestern foot of the Stollberg ( 326 m ).
The Mehlbach initially flows in a south-easterly direction along the edge of the forest. A second spring branch strengthens it north of the Weilswiese corridor . The Mehlbach now runs through the Schneiderwiese corridor and shortly afterwards feeds a small pond. It then runs south-southeast through a strip of grass that is lined with forest to the right and left.
In the corridor of the same name, the Saure Mehlbach from the west flows to him on his right . Almost two hundred meters downstream, directly west of the former Germania slate mine, it disappears underground, crosses the L 3054 ( Eschbacher Weg ) underground, and finally joins the L 3054 ( Eschbacher Weg ) about a kilometer northwest of the Weilmünster district of Laubuseschbach at a height of about 223 m from the left Bleidenbach approaching the southwest .
