Avoids DeJong

Meindest DeJong (born March 4, 1906 in Wierum , Friesland , † July 16, 1991 ) was a Dutch-American children's author.

DeJong emigrated to the USA with his family in 1914. His first book The Big Goose and the Little White Duck was published in 1938.
