Menne is a district of Warburg in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Höxter in the administrative district of Detmold with 834 inhabitants.

The district of Menne is located about 5 km north of the core town of Warburg in a depression and, in addition to the core town, borders the Warburg districts of Hohenwepel , Ossendorf and Nörde .

In the Corveyer traditions of the Corvey Monastery , the name Menne is mentioned for the first time in a document around the year 836. Other spellings of the name are Menni or Menny .

Menne was an independent municipality that belonged to the Warburg-Land office until it was incorporated into the city of Warburg on January 1, 1975 by the Sauerland / Paderborn law .
