Merzhin ( Merlin in Breton ) is a French rock band from Landerneau .
Their music is characterized by the use of instruments that are rather unusual for other rock bands. In addition to classical instruments such as guitars , basses and drums , the musicians also use the bombs or various types of flutes or brass instruments .

Major influences for the band were Noir Désir and Mano Negra . There was a collaboration with Matthieu Ballet, who also worked with Thomas Fersen , Alexis HK, Christophe Miossec and Alain Bashung .
