The metropolitan area of ​​Manaus ( Portuguese Região Metropolitana de Manaus , RMM) is also known as Grande Manaus, It is the largest metropolitan area in Northern Brazil with around 2.68 million inhabitants and the eleventh largest in the country. It brings together 13 communities in the state of Amazonas in the metropolitan area.
