Mettmenhasli is a village in the Niederhasli municipality in the Dielsdorf district of the canton of Zurich . Until 1928 it was a separate civil parish .

geography

Mettmenhasli is located in the middle section of the Glatttal at 423  m above sea level. M. in the Zurich Unterland . It is bordered by the gently rising round humps Tännlibuck ( 464  m above sea level ) in the west and Eigibüel ( 434  m above sea level ) in the east. The Haslibach flowing through Mettmenhasli cuts through the village and divides the settlement area into a southern and a northern half.

The village is located south-southeast of the Niederhasler village center, from which it is separated by the embankment of the Wehntalbahn . In the north, however, Mettmenhasli has grown together with the Haagächer settlement , which protrudes far south from the embankment in a narrow strip of settlement. A little to the south-east is Oberhasli , to the south-west of Nassenwil and to the west, behind the Tännlibuck, the hamlet of Kastelhof .

The Mettmenhaslisee with the Haslisee lido is also located near Mettmenhasli .
