Mia Biltoft (born April 3, 1992 in Ringkøbing , Denmark ) is a Danish handball player who last belonged to the squad of the Bundesliga club SG BBM Bietigheim .

Career

Mia Biltoft started playing handball at the Danish club Rindum SU. Then ran Circle runner for Team Ikast on, the former youth department of Ikast-Brande Elite Håndbold from which the FC Midtjylland Håndbold emerged. Later she was a member of the women's team at FC Midtjylland Håndbold. When winning the EHF Cup in the 2010/11 season , she came in on November 21, 2010 against ŽRK Naisa Niš used.

Biltoft was loaned to the Danish second division club Ringkøbing Håndbold in 2012. In 2013 she finally moved to Ringkøbing Håndbold. After the Danish club Aalborg DH was excluded from play in September 2013 due to its financial situation before the start of the season, they moved up with Ringkøbing Håndbold in the top Danish league. From the 2016/17 season to the end of the 2017/18 season, she was under contract with the German club SG BBM Bietigheim. With Bietigheim she won the German championship in 2017. After Biltoft gave birth to a child in February 2019, she was signed by the German Bundesliga club Thuringian HC in October 2019 .

Mia Biltoft appeared over 100 times for the Danish youth selection teams. At the U-17 European Championships in 2009 and at the U-19 European Championships in 2011, she won the gold medal. Biltoft has been a member of the Danish national team since 2016 , for which she scored three goals in four international matches.
