Michał Robert Janocha (born October 27, 1959 in Warsaw , Poland ) is auxiliary bishop in Warsaw .

Life

Michał Janocha received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Warsaw on May 28, 1987 .

On May 9, 2015 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Barica and ordered him auxiliary bishop in Warsaw. The Archbishop of Warsaw, Cardinal Kazimierz Nycz , ordained him episcopal on June 14th of the same year. Co- consecrators were the Apostolic Nuncio in Poland, Archbishop Celestino Migliore , and the Archbishop of Przemyśl , Józef Michalik .

Private

Janocha's mother's uncle and godfather is the lawyer and politician Jan Olszewski . He is also distantly related to the freedom fighter Stefan Okrzeja .
