Michał Piotrowski (born July 7, 1981 ) is a Polish ice hockey player who has been under contract with KS Cracovia in the Ekstraliga since 2007 .

Career

Michał Piotrowski began his career as an ice hockey player with Podhale Nowy Targ , for whose professional team he was active from 1999 to 2001 in the Ekstraliga , the highest Polish league. The winger then spent a year in the junior division of the North American Hockey League with the Springfield Jr. Blues and the Capital Center Pride. He then returned to his Polish homeland, where he spent one season each with his ex-club Podhale Nowy Targ and Stoczniowiec Gdańsk . In the 2004/05 season he ran for the Ducs d'Angers in the French Ligue Magnus . In the 2005/06 season he was the first time Polish champion with KS Cracovia . The following season he began at Podhale Nowy Targ before returning to KS Cracovia shortly before the end of the season. With Cracovia he won the Polish championship title again in 2008, 2009 and 2011.

International

For Poland , Piotrowski took part in the junior division of the U18 World Junior Championship in Division I in 1999 and the U20 World Junior Championship in Division I in 1999 , 2000 and 2001 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2005 , 2006 and 2008 .
