Michael Cerny
Michael Cerny (born May 16, 1964 in Vilseck ) is a German politician ( CSU ). In the local elections on March 16, 2014, Michael Cerny was elected Lord Mayor of Amberg .
Life
Cerny studied computer science in Erlangen and since 1989 worked as a computer scientist at Siemens AG in Amberg in the field of information technology. He is married and lives with his wife and their three children in the west of Amberg. 1996 moved Cerny with the list of the CSU in the Amberg city council . In 2002 he was elected 3rd Mayor, since 2008 he was 2nd Mayor of the city of Amberg. In 2014, Michael Cerny was elected as the successor to Wolfgang Dandorfer (CSU) as Lord Mayor of the City of Amberg and was confirmed in office in the local election on March 15, 2020 in the first ballot.
