Michael Engel

Michael Engel (born April 15, 1964 in Bielefeld ) is a German singer , guitarist , songwriter and harmonica player .

Act

Engel writes and composes German and English songs. Bernhard Brink , Michael Holm , Jürgen Drews and Wolfgang Petry published his songs among others . Some English songs by Michael Engel were covered in German . a. Wolfgang Petry interpreted the song As I believed I could fly , which for him means everything goes over once . Michael Engel was awarded a gold CD in 2010 for this composition .

Michael Engel has also released instrumental CDs. In 2005 the harmonica CD Heavenly Melodies was released . This was followed in 2007 by the Heavenly Harmonies CD with romantic guitar sounds . Both CDs were mastered in the Master Orange Studios by Thomas Sandmann and were released on his label Felixdae Musix. Universal released a Best Of CD of these songs in 2009, entitled Romantic Harmonica . Engel composed two singles together with Michael Holm: 2006 I'm happy and 2007 Breakfast . In 2000 Engel wrote the fan song and the official Formula 1 anthem Schumania for Jürgen Drews . For Bernhard Brink, he wrote the NDR1 listener chart No. 1 hit Mit Leib und Seele .

Michael Engel has been working with the Monaphon Records label since 2010 and wrote the summer ballad Symphony from afar for Chris Fabian . New songs are currently being created in collaboration with other composers.

In 2011 Michael Engel founded his own label MJE Records and Angel-Verlag.

In 2014, the song "Hundred Thousand Times" rose from zero to number 1 on the NDR1 Lower Saxony Top 15 charts on August 11, 2014 with the singer Sanny. Michael Engel wrote this song for the artist Sanny.
