Michael Hunter (* 23. November 1876 in calf Steinberg ; † 7. June 1962 ibid ) was a Frankish farmer and politician of the Nazi Party .

Career

Jäger attended elementary school in his hometown Kalbensteinberg and then learned the carpentry trade in his father's company. In the years 1897 to 1899 he did his military service with the Royal Bavarian 15th Infantry Regiment in Neuburg adDonau and was released as a non-commissioned officer in the reserve . He then worked in his parents' business and their agriculture. At the same time he was entrusted with the management of the postal agency . Finally, in 1907, he took over his parents' property. On August 6, 1914, after being mobilized , he was called up to the Bavarian 3rd Foot Artillery Regiment Replacement Battalion in Ingolstadt . In January 1915 he went into the field with the Wolpert Battery and served on the Western Front until the end of the war .

He took on political tasks in the district assembly of Gunzenhausen and the local chamber of farmers. In the state elections in April 1932, he moved as a member of the NSDAP in the district of Weißenburg i. B.-Gunzenhausen joined the Bavarian State Parliament , to which he was a member until it was brought into line in April 1933. From April 26, 1933, he was also 1st Mayor of Kalbensteinberg.
