EFAF Cup 2009

The 2009 season is the 8th season of the EFAF Cup . A qualifying round with four preliminary round groups will be played, with the first group qualifying for the semi-finals.

Neither Austrian nor German teams will take part in the competition this year, but the two participants in the Swissbowl 2008, the Calanda Broncos and the Zurich Renegades , will be competing for Switzerland .

The EFAF Cup started with an away win by the Amsterdam Crusaders against the Farnham Knights (6: 8) and it ends with the victory of the Prague Panthers against the Thonon Black Panthers (35:12) in the final on July 4th.
