In the 1991 season of the European Football League , 13 clubs took part, which played three of four final round places in the knockout system. The final round should actually be in Barcelona , for which the host was already set. After the final round was canceled and Helsinki withdrew, only the final, the Eurobowl V , remained, in which the Berlin Adlers were a German team for the first time. The Eurobowl was then hosted in Offenbach am Main, so the game for Europe's crown made its first appearance on German soil. The Amsterdam Crusaders emerged as the winners of the tournament, taking their first title in the third finals.
1In the Enciclopedia del football italiano the result is given as 7:37. However, the exact same result is recorded there for 1992.
Finals
The semifinals, which should take place as a tournament in Barcelona, have been canceled. The Barcelona Howlers were eliminated. The Helsinki Roosters withdrew from the competition. Berlin and Amsterdam entered the Eurobowl without a fight, which was moved to Offenbach am Main .
