In the 1991 season of the European Football League , 13 clubs took part, which played three of four final round places in the knockout system. The final round should actually be in Barcelona , for which the host was already set. After the final round was canceled and Helsinki withdrew, only the final, the Eurobowl V , remained, in which the Berlin Adlers were a German team for the first time. The Amsterdam Crusaders emerged as the winners of the tournament, taking their first title in the third finals.
