European Football League 1998

For Germany took part in the 1998 season of the European Football League the reigning German champions , the Braunschweig Lions , and last year's Euro Bowl winner, the Hamburg Blue Devils , in part. In the semifinals, the Hamburgers eliminated the Braunschweiger. In the final , the Blue Devils were able to defend their title again. They defeated the French La Courneuve Flash by 38 to 19 in front of 11,700 spectators in Hamburg's Millerntor Stadium .
