Big6 EFL 2014

The Big6 European Football League entered its second season in 2015. As in the first season, Germany was the most strongly represented nation with three teams. Austria again provided two teams. In contrast to the previous season, Switzerland did not provide a team. In the Eurobowl , the final of the Big6, there was another meeting between two German teams. Last year's runner-up New Yorker Lions Braunschweig prevailed against newcomer Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns with 24:14.

Attendees

In the Big6 2015, defending champion Berlin Adler and last year's runner-up New Yorker Lions competed again. There were also the two Austrian representatives from the previous season, Vienna Vikings and Swarco Raiders Tirol . With the German runner-up Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns and the French representative Flash de La Courneuve , the field of participants was completed by two newcomers. This was the first time that a French team competed in the Big6.

mode

The game mode was the same as last year. In a group phase, three teams competed against each other in two groups. Each team enjoyed home rights once. The group winners then determined the winner of the Big6 in the Eurobowl XXIX .
