Michael Klemm (born September 4, 1953 in Bensheim ) is a German author , director and actor .

Life

Michael Klemm studied Egyptology and art history in Munich . Then he began a three-year acting course. He is the author of numerous plays. As a director and actor he worked at several German theaters: Residenztheater Munich, Schauspiel Bonn, Zimmertheater Heidelberg, Landestheater Schwaben in Memmingen, Franconian Theater Schloss Massbach, Marburger Schauspiel. In addition, he founded the Compagnie Molion in Munich, then the Scaramouche Theater and then the Café Molière Theater in Landshut, from which today's Small Theater Landshut emerged.

1979 he played in the ZDF television series Merlin to King Arthur . He played the Scapin in Molière's 1984 theatrical production, The Scapin's Pranks . In the 1990s he made his first feature film: Leonce and Lena , based on the play by Georg Büchner . In it he plays the role of Valerio. This was followed by the documentary Where were you? , the story of a Jew and a former member of the Waffen SS who became friends in the 1990s.

Michael Klemm lived in Potsdam for many years and founded the Comédie Soleil theater there in 2004 . In November 2009 he moved his theater to the new venue in Werder an der Havel .

In 2010 his first novel Schatten der Seele was published , followed in 2012 by the second autobiographical novel Die Hofnarren . In February 2015, the novel Pan's last song - The Michael Jackson Conspiracy was published . His novel BABYLON - the great deception was published in August 2017 .

Michael Klemm has been living in Hesse again since spring 2013. Together with Horst Wüst he runs the film production One World Production Ltd. & Co. KG (Munich / Heidelberg).
