Michael Lenihan
Michael Lenihan OFM (born September 22, 1951 in Abbeyfeale ) is an Irish priest and bishop of La Ceiba in Honduras .
Life
Michael Lenihan joined the Order of the Franciscans (OFM) in 1972, made his solemn profession on September 17, 1977 and was ordained a priest on July 12, 1980 . Pope Benedict XVI appointed him Bishop of La Ceiba on December 30, 2011 .
The Archbishop of Tegucigalpa , Óscar Andrés Cardinal Rodríguez Maradiaga SDB , donated him episcopal ordination on February 11 of the next year; Co- consecrators were Luigi Bianco , Apostolic Nuncio in Honduras , and Angel Garachana Pérez CMF , Bishop of San Pedro Sula .
