Michael Morrissey (Bishop)
Michael Morrissey (born September 9, 1952 in Yalgoo , Western Australia , Australia ) is an Australian clergyman and Roman Catholic Bishop of Geraldton .
Life
Michael Morrissey received on 31 January 1981, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On May 15, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Geraldton. The Archbishop of Perth , Timothy Costelloe , ordained him episcopal on June 28 of that year ; Co- consecrators were James Hickey , Archbishop Emeritus of Perth, and Bishop Emeritus of Geralton, Justin Joseph Bianchini .
