Michael Owen Jackels
Michael Owen Jackels (born April 13, 1954 in Rapid City ) is Archbishop of Dubuque in the US state of Iowa .
Life
The Bishop of Lincoln , Glennon Patrick Flavin , consecrated him on 30 May 1981 for the priest .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Wichita on January 28, 2005 . The Archbishop of Kansas City in Kansas , Joseph Fred Naumann , donated him episcopal ordination on April 4 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Thomas James Olmsted , Bishop of Phoenix , and Fabian Wendelin Bruskewitz , Bishop of Lincoln .
On April 8, 2013, Pope Francis appointed Jackels Archbishop of Dubuque. The inauguration followed on May 30th.
