Michael Scheytt

Michael Scheytt (born June 16, 1959 ) is a former German long-distance runner .

At the German Championships over 10,000 meters, he came second in 1982 and 1988, and third in 1985 and 1986. In 1986 he was German champion in 25 km road running , in 1986, 1987 and 1994 German champion in mountain running .

At the German cross-country championships on the long distance, he finished fourth in 1982, fifth in 1983, third in 1984, second in 1985, second in 1986, third in 1987, fourth in 1988 and fourth in 1993.

At the FISU Cross World Championships (students) in Antwerp in 1984, he won the individual and the championship with the team.

At the World Cross Country Championships in Rome in 1982 he was 68th, in Gateshead in 1983 on 52nd, in 1984 in East Rutherford on 56th, in 1985 in Lisbon on 75th and 1986 in Colombier on 98th.

In 1988 he finished third in the Houston Marathon . In 1994 he ran at the Half Marathon World Championships in Oslo in 54th place.

Michael Scheytt started from 1979 to 1985 and from 1994 to 1996 for VfL Sindelfingen , from 1986 to 1987 for SKV Eglosheim and from 1988 to 1990 for LAC Munich.
