Two years later, she started in the European Cup for the first time , after being included in the junior squad of the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) in 2005. The following year she became Austrian junior champion in slalom. On November 27, 2007, Nösig finished fifth in the slalom in Rovaniemi and was among the top ten in the European Cup for the first time, followed by a ninth place in the slalom in Turnau in January . At the Junior World Championship in 2008 she reached sixth place in the combined ranking. After the winter she was promoted from the junior to the B-squad.

In the European Cup season 2008/09 Nösig drove in the super combinations of Caspoggio and Tarvisio to fourth and fifth place and thus finished sixth in the discipline ranking. In the next winter she finished eighth and fifth in the two European Cup super combinations and was able to improve by one place in the discipline classification. At the 2009 European Indoor Championships on November 7th, she achieved 14th place. Three weeks later, with third place in the Funäsdalen slalom, she achieved the first and only podium in the European Cup. On January 12, 2010, Nösig took part in a World Cup race for the first time, but could not qualify for the second run in the slalom in Flachau . Even at two other World Cup starts in the 2010/11 season - which remained her last - she did not make it into the second round. After three years in the B-squad, Nösig was no longer a member of the Austrian Ski Association's squad in the 2011/12 season.
